Back door appointments in Rajasthan high court challenged in High Court

"Back door appointments" in Rajasthan high court has challenged in High Court by petitioner Trilok Chand Saini through his counsel Lalit Sharma and petitioner also prayed to give  back door entry appointment to him in this writ petition.

A division bench of this high court will hear this matter probably 20 September. This matter will be listed before division bench because matter relates to high court employees and registrar general of Rajasthan high court himself respondents in this writ petition.

Chief justice of Rajasthan Amitava Roy will be constitute of two judges special bench to hear this matter said, deputy registrar (Judicial) Ashok Sharma  on Wednesday.

Petitioner stated in the petitioner that petitioner is unemployed and he is Graduate and due to unemployment he is facing great hardship for earning the livelihood.

 Petitioner stated that the respondent registrar general of the high court has given appointments on the post of judicial assistants maximum to the near relatives of the high court judges and the staff posted at the residence of chief justice as also staff attached with important places first by way of ad-hoc and thereafter their services are regularized. Respondent high court never issued advertisements in any of the news paper which clearly reveals that the aforesaid appointments have been given to these persons without adopting the due process of law.

Back door entry has been given to son of the chief justice's court master, former registrar general of this high court T H Samma's son, wife of care taker who is posted at chief justice's bungalow, daughter of former homeopathy doctor who was posted at high court for long time and some relatives of the former judges and close relative has been also appointed by the back door entry in the high court.

it is also mentioned that in 1999 one writ petition was also filed on same ground against back door appointments and justice J C Verma has summons all records related to appointments and all 104 back door appointments has been declared illegal and all was remove from their services.  Then Registrar general of the high court had given undertaking that no back door appointments will be given in future.

Chairman bar council of Rajasthan, Sanjay Sharma has also condemned back door appointments and advocate Poonam Chand Bhandri was it on hunger strike against back door appointments earlier. After filing this writ petition against 21 back door appointments holder are in tension and  most of the staff who wanted that selection should be through legal process are happy with this action and now a days this matter is very taking point in the high court and their employees.

High court union president Rituraj Sharma said, back door entry should be stoop in the high court it fevour nepotism and fair selection process should be adopted for better selection of the employees.
